Ok. I have been major slacking on my blog lately, like I completely forgot about it and I am very ashamed of myself. Bad Sarah!
But i have an excuse this time I promise. It was the Holiday season so i couldnt really do much because I was so busy with making cookies, wrapping gifts and stuff like that. So thats my excuse... moving on!

Urban Decay has released a new Book of Shadows with "Alice in Wonderland" and I am not going to lie, these colors are amazing! It retails for around 40 dollars I think and was released on December 28th. I really want to check this out because its too cute and features 16 Urban Decay eyeshadows in it. Some eyeshadows names are even based off of actual things from the book/movie. I've included two pictures below so take a look!



Also I was looking at some MAC promo pictures for their new collection and I think this is Ali Michaels aka my favorite model in the photo. It looks just like it. She was also in a Coach ad not to long ago. She is so fierce!

Last night I saw Avatar... ummm... may I say this was the stupidest movie I have ever seen. I hate sci-fi and this movie sucked. But the colors were pretty and I got these cool 3-D glasses.

Since I was in the christmasy mood today I was like hey why dont I do a Christmas Eve outfit! So I did and this is what I came up with. This year sequins are in, so I incoorprated TONS of sequins, the bag, the shoes and the blazer. I love the silver, I think it would look totally fab on Christmas Eve!

Santa: Bring some Snow!

I have been desperately craving Starbucks Hot Chocolate because they have amazing hot chocolate. Its like super chocolately and I love it. I am not much of a coffee person but I love hot chocolate. So this week im going for sure because I want it.

And recently Ive been on a kettlecorn kick. I have no idea why. But its so freakin delicious. I have some microwavable kind and I love it so much. Also Puppy Chow. OMG delicious. I love puppy chow.

Tights!!! I have been wearing alot of tights recently and I am not sure why. I have a gray pair and a red pair. So cute! Hopefully Santa brings me some :)

Hopefully I will post my christmas wishlist video sometime this week! Exam week... AHHHH!

I am procrastinating homework. So instead of doing my AP US homework, Im like hey, I should do a blog post and jam to Lady Gaga. But I couldnt think of anything important to talk about because I am not creative at the moment but I have a post idea for the next post. Only the best book I have read in a while. I love Nicholas Sparks. I think he just has a way to make anyone cry. The thing he makes his characters say amaze me because they are so sweet. I'll Be Home For Christmas

Its now officially Christmas season and I could not be any more excited about that. I love the holidays. Everything and everyone seems to be happy in anticipation for Christmas. I love the season more than the actual day. I cant wait to help my grandma bake cookies, well watch her make cookies as I eat them because I cant cook. I would say Lauren Conrad for sure because she is my style icon. I dont think I have ever seen her in an outfit I dont like. I also like the way Whitney Port dresses too. Its so chic. Lemme think... I would also say Hilary Duff or Taylor swift because they both dress very feminine and I love that. Plus have you seen how much LV Hilary has? Its awesome. And taylors dress collection is amazing.

Forever 21 Mini Haul

So I went to Forever 21 today and my new H&M! I didnt see anything really at H&M besides this adorable beret but I talked myself out of it. I did get two things at Forever 21 though that I am super excited about.

First thing I got was this adorable dress. It looks like a black top on the top then under the bust it goes into a interesting print skirt. I love it. It was only like $13, so bargain? Yes!



And lastly I got an awesome pair of violet cordoroys to wear with my black slouchy boots. They will look so cute with them. I couldnt find them online, but I got them for only $7!

True Life: I Have 0 Creativity

Everyone is doing an In & Out blog posts and I really wanted to do one too. So i am copying others. Sorry I am not creative enough for new idea. This is different than my "Lovin & Hatin" Post because primarily they focus on just fashion. And these are like more your life and whatever you have liked recently.

1.) Boots- I have been loving boots so much recently. I wear my slouchy black ones and my chestnut Uggs so often its crazy. I love how versitile they are. They are definately my must haves for the fall/winter. I was going to ask Santa for another pair of Uggs, but I figured since I already have one nice pair, I should be just happy with those. So instead of Uggs I think I am going to ask for cute ankle boots.

2.) Holiday Season- I love the holiday season. Even though I dont start officially listening to Christmas music till the day after Thanksgiving I am very excited. I love Black Friday. Its one of my favorite days of the year.

Warm Palette Thoughts

Best Outfits of Lady Gaga

Not only is Lady GaGa an amazing singer and performer, she is an awesome fashionista. I don't think she gets enough credit for the risks she takes in clothes, she is very avant guard and daring, which is what I love about her outfits. If you ever see something in a store that makes you think "wow who would ever wear that?" Most likely Lady GaGa would. So I have picked out my top outfits she has worn. Perfumes I want!

Ok so other than my fashion, makeup and nail polish obsession, I also have an obsession with perfumes. I know you all are shocked... just kidding. Im 100% girly girl. Of course my collection is so very small with only like five perfumes, I always want to accumulate more cause I just love smelling stuff. Each fragrance I own brings back a memory of whats happened when I wore that perfume. My ed hardy brings back memories of this spring when I went out with this guy, but now he bothers me so I dont wear my ed hardy one that much. Trendy Teal Outfit

school outfit winter by sarahbelle93 featuring Steve Madden boots

For this blog post I went on one of my favorite websites polyvore.com and created a winter outfit using things that are trendy now. This is something I would wear to school. Ive incorporated my favorite black pair of slouchy boots, the ones in the picture are from Steve Madden with a high skirt and cardigan. I am a very neutral person but I like to have that one color to pop in my outfits everday, so this one would have to be the teal. I topped it off with a pearl black necklace from forever 21 and Miss Dior Cherie Perfume.

Fall Winter Trend- Slouchy Boots

Ok so one of the main trends for fall winter 09 is the slouch boots. They are in like every department store, Payless, Dillards, DSW you name it, they got them, and I think they are super cute and I want a pair. They are avaliable in many different colors and heights, some go up onto your knee, others below.

There are many ways you can wear these boots. The most casual way I would wear them would be with dark washed demin straight leg jeans. Really casual but very trendy. You could also wear a motorcycle leather jacket to be even more trendy :)

Another way you could wear them is with a skirt and tights. I think this way is more preppy, Gossip Girl. Find a cute pair of stockings or tights that are purple and wear a cute black skirt with a pair of black slouchy boots. Just an idea.

LC Trend Alert

I saw this picture on some "Hills" blog I like to look at. And Lauren was hitting the town last weekend sporting the multicolored nails. In the picture she has every other finger painted red and the rest were navy blue.

I dont know about you but I'm going to do this next time I paint my nails. It's a edgy way to incorporate trendy into your look.

I'm Loving...



1. The City- I use to not really like this show, it was rather boring in my opinion but this second season is really entertaining and better than the new season of the Hills!


2. Big Necklaces- I love to pair these big necklaces with a scoop or v neck plain shirt from Forever 21. It really makes the outfit more chic and trendy. Forever 21 is a great place to pick up big necklaces for a small price.




3. Milly's Spring 10' Collection- Really classy and really preppy! It incorporates jackets and bows which I adore. To see the entire collection go to style.com.



4. The Colder Weather- I love fall and winter. Especially the holidays! I cant wait for Christmas. Christmas music rocks :D


5. Steph Pratt's Style- She is really chic. She uses a few trends at once without being too trendy. I miss her old face though.




I'm Hating...

1. The Hills- I thought I would never say this... but since LC left, the show continues to get worse. I loved the show when Lauren was on it but now that Kristen is the main character its trash. And I'm upset Steph Pratt got plastic surgery!


2. Bubble Skirts- I am not partically fond of most of these skirts, no offense, but they dont fit me very well. They look good on some but not me.

Another Update...

Wow guys I suck at keeping my blog updated during the school year. Please forgive me! I know some people like reading my fashion/makeup posts but I havent had the time do them! Sorry sorry sorry! So here is a lame update...

Stuff
-Ive had a butt load of homework, projects and papers. Especially in my Fashion 2 class. Ive had three projects this past month in my Fashion 2 class. One we had to go through magazines and such to find 70 examples of necklines, sleeves, pant styles, short lenghts, dress styles, skirts and more. That took me forever and I didnt even finish some examples, so I got like a 94% which is okay with me! Then right now I have a powerpoint of fashion in the 1930's due Friday and I have to do four sketches of designs for my time period then make an outfit for a Barbie to show it off... Yeah kinda difficult to make Barbie clothes cause they are so small.
-Homecoming was fun though! I loved my dress that I borrowed from my friend cause I couldnt find one I really liked. I will put a picture somewhere in this post! Thats me with my friend. We are pretty :D
-Ive been injured so much this cross country season. I had knee problems at the beginning of the year and now I have a problem with my achilles so my time is like 3 minutes slower than usual for a 5k. Im terrible this season. Hopefully I will do better Saturday!

Kim Kardashian MAC Makeup Favorites

Hey everyone! Today I was just browsing the web and youtube and I found this really interesting website that told me everything that Kim Kardashian wears from MAC and her favorites. Now if you are one of the many haters or someone who already knows this, dont continue reading because Im just going to write about her favorites.

For eyes Kim really likes to use MAC Pigments, according to a few websites her favorites are Naked and Tan for an all over the lid shimmer. And for her signature smokey look she loves to use MAC Carbon, Knight Divine and Embark. Also to keep the shadows from creasing, she uses MAC Painterly Paint Pot.

For lips, everyone knows she uses the MAC Lipstick in Angel.

And for cheeks she likes cream blushes because she says they stay on longer, but she likes to wear the blush in Pink Swoon.

I have been slacking on the blog recently and I am super sorry. I know most of you are following this blog for makeup or fashion related purposes, but no, I have to be a slacker and not do any. I apologize cause this is another update...

Recently I have had a butt load of homework. I had a fashion project that was due yesterday that took me forever and a half. I had to find 69 (no pun intended) examples of like sleeves, necklines, dresses ect. Difficult stuff. And I have a ton of homework every night in Pre-Cal. No fun. Then I have a Spanish test tomorrow that I really need to study for.

Homecoming is next week. I am pretty dern excited for that. I am going to my friends house before hand to get our pictures taken with all my friends and to eat dinner. So thats fun right? I have also been thinking about my makeup I am going to wear with my dress. I think I am going to do a neutral look because I just like neutrals haha. My dress is black, so nothing exciting. Oh and I dont have a date, which is totally awesome cause I like going single and dancing with any guy I want. No I am not a whore but that sounded very whoreish.

Oh yah and in case you didnt know this already, I got a MacBook! Finally! The quality is amazing and I love it so much. Its just so lovely. I am in love with it.

I have been on a major MAC craving lately. I just want to go to the cosmetics store and buy tons of stuff, especially the dupes for the mac spiced chocolate quad. If you want to know the dupes just read the post below this. Like I need the quad haha. I might just put them in a quad and pretend its the Spiced Chocolate quad, just kidding. I just want it so much cause I think it will make my eyes pop. Oh yah that reminds me people say they like my eyes in my last video and some dont believe those are my real eyes... but they are. I am not wearing colored contacts lol.

Sarah Got a Macbook! (Finally!)

I am so excited in case you cant tell. I've wanted a MacBook for the longest time! And finally my dad said yes, my mom has always said yes but my dad being the strict parent he is, would always end up saying no. I have no idea why he suddenly let me. I'm not gonna question it lol cause I finally got it!

I've been on it all the time! I just love it so much. I cant wait to get either a Juicy Couture laptop case or a Betseyville by Betsey Johnson laptop case??? Any opinions? I'm thinking Betsey Johnson cause its cheaper, and if it gets dirty... oh well!

So I guess I will update this later with a makeup or fashion related post!

Duping MAC Spiced Chocolate Quad

Unfortunately I wasnt really into MAC that much in September of 2008 last year, therefore I never got to get the Spiced Chocolate Quad. I really want it, but I'm not gonna spend the crazy prices on eBay which is unsafe anyways or on allcosmeticswholesale, which is safe just really expensive. No CCO's near me have them which is very unfortunate but thats okay cause I tried to find the closest dupes of the eyeshadows!

The colors starting at the top left and going clockwise- Nanogold, Brash, Sweet Chestnut and Spiced Chocolate.

*Please note that these are not exact dupes! I'm trying to help everyone and help me get the closest makeup look*

*All dupes are regular eyeshadows at MAC*

-Nanogold Dupe- Shroom.
-Brash- A Combonation of Amber Lights with a little bit of Antiqued.
-Sweet Chestnut- Sketch.
-Spiced Chocolate- Swiss Chocolate.

I hope this was somewhat useful to some people who really like this quad and never got to get it. Try out these colors and let me know. I'm gonna get Amber Lights and Antiqued next time I go to MAC so I can do a look with them!

Feather Headbands.

Feather Headbands seem to be this years new thing. And if you dont know what I'm talking about look at the picture below.

The funny thing is, is when I was in NYC this summer I saw a ton of these being sold at steet vendors on the streets of soho and I was like OMG i have to get one. They were like 8 dollars there. Of course I forgot to buy one... but thats ok. Now I cant find any cute one in stores!

Anyways these are very in this season. It's very gossip girl-esque. It is edgy and chic but at the same time preppy and cute! Anyone can pull them off. I cant wait to find one for fall. It will look adorable with a cardigan.

The website is called www.macmakeup.net and its got so many mac eyeshadow combonations on it. There is an alphabetical line and say you wanted to know eyeshadow combos with the MAC eyeshadow "Antiqued", you click "a" then look for antiqued and it will give you a ton of combonations.

Top 3 Fall Nail Colors

Hey guys so instead of doing these stupid updates and stuff that I have been doing alot of recently, its time for an actual informative post! Yay! So lets talk nail polishes for fall. Darker colors.

The first one I think is perfect for fall is Sephora by OPI Metro Chic Its a gorgeous dirty purple gray. It's an edgy color that can be worn with alot of things, so its very versitile.


The second one is Plumski by Essie. Its a gorgeous wine color. I LOVE reds in the fall because its just a fall color and really good for Christmas or Thanksgiving time which is the best time of the year in my opinion.


The last one I think would look oh so pretty in fall is Ruby Pumps by China Glaze. I love this one. I own it and its just so pretty and glittery. I know that glitters arent "in" like matte nail polishes are but I love love love this. Try it out if you havent already at your local Sally's.

Bargain Huntin

Hey guys so today I went purse shopping cause I havent bought like an everyday purse since Feburary which is SO crazy for me because I love purses. I went to tj maxx and Dillards in search and didnt see anything so we went to the bigger TJ Maxx in a different state and I got...

A Juicy Wristlet!
It was only $30 dollars and it was normally $78 so thats pretty much a bargain. I'm not gonna lie, my mom did buy me this because I gave her one of my old coach's I dont like that she likes. So yay! I wanted this cute Betsey Johnson bag but it was stained so Sarah didnt buy it.

Also I think I am getting a regular Macbook because Macbook pro's are too complex for me haha. I like how cute the white ones are anyways because they are so classy looking. I told my mom about the Betsey Johnson laptop cases and she said Santa would bring me one! haha. The one I really like is animal print (shocker ik)

MacBook!

Okay so I have a kinda large announcement! In case you haven't read on twitter or anything, I am buying a Macbook very very soon! My own money every single penny of it. I could not be more excited about it too!

I'm not buying one new though, I'm buying one from someone. Its 100% safe no worries ahah! Now the bad thing about this is I cant buy much until I pay 300 dollars back to my parents because I have all the money but 300 of it. This means no serious shopping. Maybe the occasional going shopping with mom and she treating me to something, but thats it. No MAC till after November I told my mom cause I have plenty. But my wishlist is growing which I guess is good cause I can ask for the things I want for Christmas (125 days I have a countdown on my computer). So ya...

I cant decide if I would rather have the older Macbook Pro like this one...

I like how big the screen is on this one! It has the same amount of GB and hard drive as the white one I'm looking at and they are both around the same price. And they include iLife and Microsoft Office already! So ya thats good! If you have a macbook please tell me which one you have and which one you think I should get.

OPI Done Out In Deco

Lovely lovely color! Its a cream finish, which is my favorite personally. The color is a light lavender with gray tint to it. I love it! I think it would be perfect for winter because the gray and purple are light but dark.

The one disadvantage is this one chips so much! I never have big problems with OPI's chipping but dang this one does.

OPI Matte Collection

As yall know, I am a major nail polish freak. I have always been a big fan of buying nail polishes and I probably will always be one. Recently I have become obsessed with OPI and higher end nail polishes.

The launch is called the Matte Collection featuring 6 popular colors that were turned into these matte finishes. And when I say matte I dont mean like most shiny matte nail polishes, these are LEGIT matte finishes. I am super excited about this launch because it has this gorgeous version of OPI You Don't Know Jacques! The picture below is from flickr. Not my picture.

I'm Loving...

1. Louis Vuitton Speedy 30- I want one so bad. These bags are heaven in a purse. To me they are timeless (well they are) and will never be considered last seasons item. Its a very classy purse that if I had money to spend I would buy like right now.


2. Big Bows- We all know what a big bow looks like and I just love how they look as an accent on shirts or dresses. They are so adorable!

3. Polos- I dont know why I am going back to polos all the sudden. I had like polo overkill back in middle school cause thats all we could pretty much wear. I like the Abercrombie polos personally. Once again these are a timeless piece.



4. Diane von Furstenberg- Everytime I go on polyvore this is what catches my attention. This lady is a fashion goddess!

I'm Hating...

1.Printed Leggings- No offense. I know alot like these cause they are in style now. However, you will not catch me in these suckers. I like denim leggings but thats about it.


2. Rompers- They just arent me. I know some are cute, but not me. Not my style at all. I just dont like overalls and thats what rompers remind me of.

Freakishly Long Update

So I start school next Tuesday and quite honestly im like nervous and excited about going back. I am going into my junior year at my public (people always ask if i attend private school) high school. I have a hard schedule this year. I have two AP classes! Ahh. Im taking a class before school starts every morning so I can have an extra credit. Its quite crazy.

Im going shopping this weekend for school supplies, clothes and maybe a new purse! We are gonna go to Platos Closet to give some of my old Abercrombie shirts for money. Then of course we are going to go to the mall. Yippee! I think we are also going to go to MAC so I can get two brushes, the 224 for sure and either the 219 or 213. I think I might also get brush cleaner. Not sure. Then we are going to go to Ulta cause I need a few things from there. Some OPI, a teasing comb, CHI Silk Infusion, and Proactiv. I'm super excited about Proactiv!

I have a feeling this is going to be a long post. So anyways, I am also thinking about ordering from Candles by Victoria because I dont own any candles lol. I think they would like help me relax as I do my homework because I am a freak like that. So I think I am going to order three candles! Woohoo. The scents I am considering are...
-Pink Sugar (for sure getting). I just love the smell of this perfume so I have to have it in a candle form!
-I'm a Rockstar- smells like Rockstar Soap which I love the smell of.
-Chocolate Chip Cookie- I love chocolate chip cookies. Enough said.
-Flapjacks- One of my favorite foods. How cool is that?
-Honey I Washed The Youngins- People seem to like the smell of Honey I washed the Kids, so might give it a try.
So i must narrow these choices down to two or three!

Hmmm what else can I ramble on and on about... Oh yes. Teen Choice Awards.

First off, WTF Miley? I gotta admit that I like some of her songs but sweet baby jesus what the crap was Miley wearing? That was so innapropriate for her age. I dont wanna see your black bra and slutty shorts! The pole dancing wasnt like really really bad, but she was dancing with a pole. Not pole dancing exactly.

Second thing. Poor Vanessa! That whole joke that the comedian (David Cook?) did was so rude. I dislike her but I honestly felt bad for her.

Third. Fred. Enough said.
